Welcome to the web site of the Australian Friesian Warmblood Horse Society Inc.(AFWHS). The Society was formed in 1998 to maintain a register of horses, promote and sponsor classes at shows and hold annual Hi-point awards.

A Friesian Warmblood is a horse that is at least 25% Friesian. They are bred for their even temperament, strength, stamina, and versatility. The Friesian gives great beauty, lovely movement, fantastic conformation, a friendly, quiet temperament and a "look at me" quality when crossed with other breeds. What more could you want?
